About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Obscura Vertex Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us"), the maker of GoBeast. They cover the GoBeast apps for iPhone and Android, the GoBeast web app and the gobeast.com website ("GoBeast"). Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your data.
By downloading or using GoBeast, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use GoBeast.
Who can use GoBeast
GoBeast is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. By using GoBeast, you confirm that you are.
Health and safety
GoBeast is education and exercise, not medical care. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Talk to a doctor before making health decisions, and stop and get checked if you have pain or symptoms that worry you.
GoBeast works alongside medical care, never instead of it. Never stop, skip or change a medicine or treatment because of anything in GoBeast. Using GoBeast does not create a doctor–patient or therapist–client relationship with us.
Lessons are written from published research and clinical guidelines, and their health statements link to the sources. They have not been individually reviewed by a doctor or physiotherapist. We don't promise any particular result: people respond differently, and not everyone improves.
Pain isn't progress
Pelvic-floor exercises shouldn't hurt. If anything hurts, stop the session and use the Pain button. Pain in your pelvis, genitals, perineum or bottom, pain when you ejaculate or pee, or trouble starting to pee can mean your pelvic floor is too tense rather than weak, or that something else needs checking. GoBeast then switches you to relaxation-only sessions. See a doctor about the pain, and go back to strengthening only when a doctor or physiotherapist says it's OK.
Get emergency help now
Call your emergency number (911 in the US and Canada, 999 in the UK, 112 or 999 in Ireland, 000 in Australia, 111 in New Zealand) or go to an emergency department if you have:
- an erection lasting more than 3 to 4 hours, or a painful erection lasting over an hour if you have sickle cell disease (don't drive yourself);
- chest pain or pressure, pain spreading to your arm, neck, jaw or back, or breathlessness during sex or exercise;
- sudden, severe pain in a testicle, or testicle pain with feeling or being sick or tummy pain.
Get medical help today
- You can't pee at all.
- There is blood in your pee (ask for an urgent appointment).
See a doctor soon
- Pain during or after exercises; an ache in your pelvis, perineum, genitals or testicles that doesn't go away; pain when you ejaculate or pee. Stop strengthening until you've been checked.
- Blood in your semen.
- A lump, swelling or change in shape of a testicle; a lump, hard area or new curve in your penis; painful erections.
- Erection problems that keep happening, or no erections at all, including on waking. These can be an early sign of heart or blood-vessel problems, even if you're young.
- Low sex drive that worries you.
See a doctor before you start training
- New or changing urinary symptoms: a weak stream, straining, peeing more often or at night, or new leaks.
- Recent prostate or pelvic surgery or radiotherapy. Follow your care team's plan first. GoBeast isn't designed for recovery after surgery.
If you're struggling
If you feel hopeless or have thoughts of harming yourself, you don't have to handle it alone. Call or text 988 (US and Canada), call or text 1737 (New Zealand), call Samaritans on 116 123 (UK and Ireland) or Lifeline on 13 11 14 (Australia). If you're in danger now, call your emergency number.
Your account
You can use GoBeast without creating an account: the app signs in anonymously with a random ID. You can choose to sign in with Apple, Google or email to sync between devices. Keep your phone and sign-in secure. App lock is available in You › Privacy. If you think someone else has used your account, contact us.
Free and paid features
These parts of GoBeast are free, with no time limit: Foundations, Pelvic Power Levels 1–2 with full voice cues, two SOS cards, all safety content, library browsing, progress, reminders and every privacy feature.
GoBeast Pro is a subscription that unlocks everything else: all tracks, Levels 3–10, power sessions, practices, all SOS cards, on-demand sessions and new content as we add it. There is one subscription and no add-ons.
Subscriptions, trials and renewals
GoBeast Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, sold through the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android):

- Your price. Prices outside the US are set in local currency by Apple or Google and may include taxes. The app always shows the exact price before you buy.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start with a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same length and at the same price unless you cancel it. On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. On Google Play, cancel any time before the renewal date. Either way, you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Free trial. When the 7-day free trial ends, it becomes a paid yearly subscription at US$59.99 (or your local price) unless you cancel before it ends; on the App Store, at least 24 hours before. Apple and Google decide who is eligible for a trial. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, the rest of the trial ends.
- Reminders. We remind you 3 days before every charge: before a trial ends and before every yearly renewal, always; before monthly renewals, on by default, and you can switch those off. Reminders come as a notification and an in-app banner, and by email if you've given us a confirmed address. You › Subscription always shows your next charge, its date and where you're billed.
- Founding-member offer. Waitlist members get a code for a 30-day free trial of GoBeast Pro Yearly at launch. It works like the 7-day trial: unless you cancel before it ends, it becomes a paid yearly subscription, and we remind you 3 days before.
GoBeast doesn't sell subscriptions on its website. If we add another way to buy, we will add its terms here first, and it will be possible to cancel online in one click.
How to cancel
Deleting the app or your GoBeast account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel in the store you bought from:
iPhone or iPad
- In GoBeast, go to You › Subscription › Manage or cancel, or open the Settings app and tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Choose GoBeast and tap Cancel Subscription.
Android
- In GoBeast, go to You › Subscription › Manage or cancel, or open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
- Choose GoBeast and tap Cancel subscription.
Refunds
- Purchases you chose. The free trial, with a reminder before it ends, is how you try GoBeast Pro. So we don't refund a purchase you chose to make, including the first charge after a trial.
- Forgot to cancel. If a renewal (any automatic charge after your first paid charge) goes through and you haven't started a session since, ask within 7 days of the charge and it will be refunded. On Google Play we issue the refund ourselves. On iPhone, refunds are handled by Apple: we open Apple's refund request for you and tell Apple we'd like it granted, but Apple makes the final call.
- Our mistake. If we ever charge a renewal without sending the reminder first, we refund it without you asking on Google Play. On iPhone, we send you a link to request the refund from Apple.
- How to ask. In the app, use You › Subscription › Refund help, or email support@gobeast.com with the order number from your receipt.
Apple's and Google's own refund policies also apply, and you can ask them directly. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live, including any right to cancel that Apple or Google give you.
Price changes
If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before your next charge at the new price. Apple and Google also notify you and, where their rules or the law require, ask you to agree to a price increase. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
Using GoBeast fairly
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use GoBeast on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, under these terms and the store's rules. Please don't:
- copy, record, share, sell or publish GoBeast's lessons, audio, illustrations, sessions or other content;
- reverse engineer GoBeast or try to get around its paywall or security, except where the law allows;
- scrape, overload or interfere with GoBeast or the systems behind it;
- use GoBeast if you're under 18, or let a minor use it;
- harass or abuse our team;
- use GoBeast to break any law.
GoBeast's content, design, name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond the licence above.
Changes to GoBeast
We keep improving GoBeast, so features and content may change, and we may add or remove things. We will tell you in advance about changes that significantly reduce what GoBeast Pro includes, so you can decide whether to keep your subscription.
Apple and Google
If you got GoBeast from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply, and Google is not responsible for GoBeast. If you got GoBeast from the App Store:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for GoBeast and its content.
- Your licence covers Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules, including Family Sharing where it applies.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for GoBeast.
- If GoBeast fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for GoBeast.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims about GoBeast, including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, privacy, and claims that GoBeast infringes someone's intellectual property.
- You confirm that you are not in a country under a US government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use GoBeast, such as your mobile carrier's.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, GoBeast is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that GoBeast will meet your goals, produce any particular result, or always be available and free of errors. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees or rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that can't be excluded.
Limits on our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss caused by not following the health and safety guidance above; and our total liability to you for all claims about GoBeast is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for GoBeast in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.
Ending your use
You can stop using GoBeast at any time and delete your account in the app (see Delete your account). Remember to cancel your subscription in the store too.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by redistributing our content. Where it's reasonable, we will warn you first. The sections on health and safety, disclaimers, liability and governing law still apply after your use ends.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes about them go to the courts of Singapore. If you use GoBeast as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
If you have a problem, please email us first. Most things can be sorted out quickly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when GoBeast or the law changes. We change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using GoBeast after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using GoBeast and cancel your subscription.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
