Kegel Trainer PFM and Squeezy Men: what they cost and how they compare

Kegel Trainer PFM is free to use, with an optional paid Pro level from $2.99 a month. Squeezy Men costs $4.99 once (£3.99 in the UK) and was designed by NHS physiotherapists, though it's sold by a private company, not the NHS. Both cost less than GoBeast, and both are on iPhone and Android today. Here's what each one does, checked on 24 Oct 2026.

We make GoBeast, a Kegel app for men. We say where other apps are the better pick, and every fact about another app is dated and comes from its public listing. Spot a mistake? Email support@gobeast.com.

Kegel Trainer PFM and Squeezy Men often turn up when men search for a cheap or "NHS" pelvic floor app. This page covers both from their public App Store and Google Play listings and websites, read on 24 Oct 2026. For the exercise itself, see our Kegel exercises for men guide.

Quick verdict

  • Pick Kegel Trainer PFM if you want to pay nothing, or very little. It's free to use, rated 4.8 on both stores, and has visual, sound or vibration cues.
  • Pick Squeezy Men if you're seeing a physiotherapist. It costs $4.99 once, your physio can set your plan in its Professional mode, and it has a bladder diary.
  • Pick GoBeast (made by us) if you want a voice coach written for men, with reverse Kegels and a relaxation set in every session. It costs more, and its phone apps arrive in early 2027.

App Store rating counts come from Apple's lookup service for the US store.1,2 Apple lists at most 10 purchase items and doesn't label them, so the prices you're offered can differ by country.

Is Kegel Trainer free?

Yes, the core app is. Its App Store listing says: "Kegel Trainer is free to use but we also offer an optional Pro level accessed via an auto renewing monthly" subscription.3

The US App Store lists these purchases: Monthly $2.99, 6 Monthly $9.99, Annual $19.99, Pro $29.99, and four $2.99 items called Full access, Extra levels pack, Reminders pack and custom level option.3 On Google Play, in-app items run from $1.49 to $59.99.4 The listing doesn't spell out which features need Pro. Its website has a "Buy access" page that says direct purchase, with "No subscription", is still being built.5

Kegel Trainer PFM review

Kegel Trainer PFM comes from Olson Applications, a London developer whose other apps cover home workouts, relaxation and meditation.6,4 It has been on the App Store since December 2012.1

What it does, per its listings: 10 sessions of 30 seconds to 3 minutes, daily reminders, achievements and streaks, and a choice of "visual audio or vibration cues", so you can train "while no one around you is any the wiser". It has a discreet icon and name.3 Version 11.0, released on 27 Sep 2026, added a workout plan builder, optional full-body exercises and "new voice audio with more guidance".3 It's available in English and 17 other languages.

Who it's for: men and women. The Google Play listing says it's for "both men and women", the website says "Pelvic floor training for men and women", and its version notes mention a pre-natal workout plan.4,7,3 Its listings don't describe cues written for the male pelvic floor.

Reverse Kegels: not mentioned on the listings. Some App Store reviewers mention reverse Kegel exercises and a relaxation plan in the app, but we couldn't confirm that from the listing, so take it as unverified.

Privacy: the App Store label lists nothing under "Data Used to Track You". Purchases, contact info and usage data may be linked to you, and diagnostics are collected without being linked.3 Its Google Play data safety section says it may share location, personal info and four other data types with third parties.4

Squeezy Men review

Squeezy Men is the men's version of Squeezy, from Living With Ltd, a company based in Brighton, UK. It costs $4.99 in the US App Store and on Google Play, and £3.99 in the UK. There are no in-app purchases and nothing to cancel.8,9,2

What it does, per its listings: a customisable exercise plan, visual and audio prompts, progress graphs, notes after each session, reminders and a bladder diary. Its "Professional mode" is there "to help physiotherapists set detailed exercise plans for patients".8 Squeezy says its preset plan follows NICE guidelines.10

Who it's for: men with symptoms, and men working with a physio. The listing says it "is particularly aimed at men who are seeing a specialist physiotherapist", and also that "Men should only be doing these exercises if they have symptoms (like leaking) or before and after a prostatectomy."8 That's a narrower view than ours, and worth knowing before you buy. GoBeast isn't designed for recovery after surgery: if that's you, follow your care team's plan first.

Regulation: the listing says the app "is UKCA marked as Class I medical device in the United Kingdom".8 GoBeast isn't a medical device.

Privacy: the App Store label lists nothing under "Data Used to Track You". Health and fitness data, location, user content, identifiers, usage data and diagnostics may be linked to you.8 Its Google Play data safety section says no data is shared with third parties.9

Ratings: 4.8 from 1,126 ratings on the UK App Store, 4.6 from 45 in the US, and 4.6 from 434 reviews on Google Play, with more than 10,000 downloads.2,9

Is Squeezy an NHS app?

Not quite. It's designed by NHS physiotherapists and recommended by NHS hospital trusts, but it's made and sold by a private company, and you pay for it. Here's exactly how each source puts it:

  • The Squeezy Men listing: "designed by chartered, NHS physiotherapists specialising in men's health."8
  • Squeezy's website: Squeezy is "an evidence-based, award-winning, NHS-endorsed digital therapeutic".11
  • The women's Squeezy listing: "clinically reviewed and approved by the NHS for its clinical safety". That line is on the women's app, not the men's.12
  • St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, in a May 2026 leaflet for men: "NHS recommended 'Squeezy' app".13
  • James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, in a 2024 leaflet for men: "'Squeezy for Men' is approved by the NHS".14

The nhs.uk pages we checked on bladder leaks don't mention it.15 There's also a free version, Squeezy Connect, for patients whose clinic uses the Living With platform. You need an invitation from your clinician.16

So if you're searching for an "NHS pelvic floor app for men", Squeezy Men is the one the NHS trust leaflets we found point to. It isn't free on the NHS unless your clinic gives you Squeezy Connect.

Where these apps beat GoBeast

We make GoBeast, and here's where these two are the better pick:

  • Price. Kegel Trainer PFM's core is free, and its yearly Pro item is $19.99. Squeezy Men is $4.99 once. GoBeast Pro is $59.99 a year or $14.99 a month.
  • Your phone, today. Both are on iPhone and Android now. GoBeast is a web app until early 2027.
  • Working with a physio. Squeezy Men's Professional mode lets a physio set your exact plan, and it has a bladder diary. GoBeast can't load a physio's plan.
  • Regulation. Squeezy Men is a UKCA-marked Class I medical device in the UK. GoBeast is an exercise and education app.
  • Track record. Kegel Trainer PFM has been on the App Store since 2012, and has 79.3K Google Play reviews.
  • Languages and silent cues. Kegel Trainer PFM comes in 18 languages and can cue you by vibration alone.

Where GoBeast is different

  • Written for men. Cues describe the male pelvic floor.
  • A voice-guided, eyes-free player for every squeeze, hold and release.
  • 10 Kegel levels, including reverse Kegels, and a relaxation set at the end of every session.
  • Pain changes the plan. A pain check before you train, and a Pain button that switches you to a relax-first path.
  • More than Kegels. Stamina and Confidence lessons, and cardio and strength sessions with a tiger trainer.
  • Discreet. A discreet icon, an app lock, and a reminder 3 days before every charge.

None of this means GoBeast works better. Nothing has tested GoBeast, Kegel Trainer PFM or Squeezy Men.

Cancelling Kegel Trainer Pro

Kegel Trainer's support page says subscriptions bought through Apple or Google are managed in your app store account, not in the app.17 Our cancel guide has the steps for iPhone and Android. Squeezy Men is a one-off purchase, so there's nothing to cancel.

How we checked

On 24 Oct 2026 we read both apps' US App Store pages (description, purchase list, privacy label and version history), the UK App Store listing for Squeezy Men, both Google Play listings, the Kegel Trainer and Squeezy websites, two NHS trust leaflets and two nhs.uk pages. Ratings come from Apple's lookup service and the Google Play listing pages. We didn't install or test either app: this review is of their public listings and websites. We don't repeat any app's outcome claims, and we don't present user reviews as fact. We make GoBeast. Corrections to support@gobeast.com.

When to stop

Questions

Is GoBeast private?

You can start without an account. The app has a discreet icon option and an app lock, notifications use neutral wording, and your answers are never shared with advertisers.

Does GoBeast work?
