Quick verdict
Which Kegel app suits you
- A voice that talks you through every rep, release work and billing you can follow: GoBeast (made by us). The web app is available now; iPhone and Android are coming early 2027.
- The lowest price: Kegel Trainer PFM. The core is free, and Pro is $19.99 a year.
- Pay once, nothing renews: Squeezy Men, $4.99. It scores highest on our six criteria.
- The most App Store ratings: Dr. Kegel, 4.8 from 46,689.
- Reverse Kegels on iPhone today: Stamena.
Your GoBeast plan is free to see. Training needs GoBeast Pro: $59.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $14.99 a month. We remind you 3 days before every charge.
Exercise and education app. Not medical care.
How to choose a Kegel app
Most Kegel apps look alike in the store. Four things separate them, a few things should make you stop, and five minutes of checking tells you what you'll really pay.
What matters
- Voice or audio cues
- With spoken cues you can train with the phone in your pocket or at a desk, without watching a timer. Vibration can pace you, but it can't tell you what comes next. Look for "audio" or "voice" in the listing. Vibration or on-screen prompts alone won't talk you through it.
- A release or relax phase
- A Kegel has two halves, the squeeze and the let-go. Look for reverse Kegels or a relaxation set, and a way to stop if something hurts. "Pelvic-floor strengthening isn't right for everyone. If you have pain in your pelvis, genitals, perineum or bottom, pain when you ejaculate or pee, or trouble starting to pee, your pelvic floor may be too tense rather than too weak, or something else may be going on."1
- Progression
- Levels or a plan that changes as you train, so sessions don't stay the same for months. Good apps also tell you what happens after a few days off.
- Guidance written for men
- The cues for men are different. The best-known UK trial taught men to check: "You should be able to see the base of your penis move nearer to your abdomen and your testicles rise." It also said: "Try to avoid holding your breath, pulling in your abdomen or tensing your buttocks."2 A unisex app may never mention either.
Red flags
- A trial toggle: a switch on the paywall that flips between a free-trial plan and a paid one. It makes it easy to miss which you picked and what you'll be charged.
- Unclear renewal: a big per-week or per-month figure, with the amount you'll actually be billed in small print, or no date for when the trial ends.
- Weekly plans. At $4.99 a week, 52 weeks cost $259.48. Three of the seven apps below list one.
- Several prices for the same plan length. Five of the seven list more than one, so two people can see different prices.
- A subscription sold only through a website quiz. It's billed outside the app stores, so you can't cancel it from your phone's subscription list.
Check the billing before you pay
- On the App Store page, scroll to In-App Purchases. It lists up to 10 prices. A long list of different prices for the same length is a warning sign.
- On the same page, read the App Privacy label, especially "Data Used to Track You".
- On the paywall in the app, find the amount you'll be billed, the trial length and the date of the first charge. Take a screenshot.
- Put a reminder in your calendar 2 days before the trial ends. Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Know where you'd cancel before you start: on iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Android, your subscriptions in Google Play. Our cancel guide has every step.
Picks by what you need
- Cheapest start
- Kegel Trainer PFM. The core app is free, and Pro costs $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year.
- One price, nothing renews
- Squeezy Men, $4.99 in the US. Its listing says NHS physiotherapists designed it, and a physio can set your plan in its professional mode.
- The most App Store ratings
- Dr. Kegel: 4.8 from 46,689 US App Store ratings, and more than a million Google Play downloads. Sessions take 5 minutes and follow the phone's vibration.
- The biggest Android following
- Kegel Men, with 118,112 Google Play reviews.
- Reverse Kegels, on the App Store today
- Stamena. iPhone only.
- Multi-week lesson programmes, on the stores today
- The Coach, with 8-week and 12-week programmes.
- Kegels plus meditation, for anyone
- Senses, which says it suits adults of any gender.
- Eyes-free voice guidance, release work and honest billing
- GoBeast (made by us). Reverse Kegels sit inside its 10 levels, every session ends with a relaxation set, and it reminds you 3 days before every charge. The web app is available now; iPhone and Android are coming early 2027.
How we scored them
An app gets one point for each criterion its public listing supports, and half a point for a partial match. We built GoBeast around these six things, so they suit apps like ours. If ratings, track record or the lowest price matter more to you, go by the picks above.
- Audio or voice cues during the exercises.
- Built for men.
- Relax or release work, such as reverse Kegels or a relaxation set.
- Simple billing: no weekly plan and one price for each plan length, or a one-off price.
- Nothing under "Data Used to Track You" on the App Store privacy label.
- Full access for $20 a year or less in the US.
| App | Audio cues | For men | Relax work | Simple billing | No tracking label | $20 a year or less | Score | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Squeezy Men | Yes | Yes | Not stated | Yes (one-off) | Yes | Yes | 5 | App Store, Google Play |
| GoBeast (made by us) | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | No label yet | No | 4 | Our app page |
| Kegel Trainer PFM | Yes | No | Not stated | Yes | Yes | Yes | 4 | App Store, Google Play |
| Stamena | Yes | Yes | Yes | No | No | No | 3 | App Store |
| Dr. Kegel | Partly | Yes | Not stated | No | No | No | 1.5 | App Store, Google Play |
| Kegel Men | Not stated | Yes | Partly | No | No | No | 1.5 | App Store, Google Play |
| The Coach | Not stated | Yes | Partly | No | No | No | 1.5 | App Store, Google Play |
| Senses | Not stated | No | Partly | No | No | No | 0.5 | App Store, Google Play |
Partly means: Dr. Kegel paces sessions by vibration, with no audio mentioned. Kegel Men lists breathing exercises for relaxation, The Coach lists guided meditations and breathing practices, and Senses lists meditations for relaxation. None of those three mentions reverse Kegels.
GoBeast gets no privacy point because it has no App Store label to check yet. Our privacy policy says there are no advertising or attribution SDKs in the app.3
Of the apps here, only GoBeast lists all three: voice cues, reverse Kegels and a reminder before every charge. Your personal plan is free to see in the web app.

Google Play 4.1 (2,401 reviews); 100K+ | Identifiers, Usage Data | App Store, Google Play |
None of the seven App Store pages lists Apple Watch support, and GoBeast has no watch app either.
GoBeast has two prices and no add-ons: $59.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $14.99 a month. The plan itself costs nothing to see.
App by app
Squeezy Men
One $4.99 price with nothing to renew. The listing says chartered NHS physiotherapists who specialise in men's health designed it, that a physio can set your exercise plan in its professional mode, and that it's UKCA-marked as a Class I medical device in the UK. It gives visual and audio prompts and lists nothing under "Data Used to Track You".
Check: it has only 45 US ratings (1,126 in the UK), and its listing is aimed at men who see a specialist physiotherapist.
GoBeast (made by us)
A voice and haptic coach through 10 Kegel levels, reverse Kegels included, that keeps going with the screen locked. Every session ends with a relaxation set. Around it sit audio lessons, guided walks and runs, and strength sessions demonstrated by a tiger trainer. The yearly plan is $59.99 with a 7-day free trial; monthly is $14.99. We remind you 3 days before every charge, and Settings opens the store's cancel screen in one tap.
Check: it reaches the App Store and Google Play in early 2027, so there are no ratings, reviews or privacy label to read yet. It costs more than Squeezy Men or Kegel Trainer PFM. The details are on the GoBeast app page.
Kegel Trainer PFM
Free to use, with an optional Pro level. You pick visual, audio or vibration cues, and a discreet icon and name hide what the app is for. It lists nothing under "Data Used to Track You" and has 4.8 on both stores, with more than a million Google Play downloads.
Check: sessions run 30 seconds to 3 minutes, the listing isn't written for men, and it doesn't mention reverse Kegels.
Stamena
Built around Kegels and reverse Kegels, with levels and the option to skip the easy ones. Its release notes mention added audio cues for each rep.
Check: iPhone only, every feature needs a subscription, two different yearly prices are listed, and "Identifiers" appears under "Data Used to Track You".
Dr. Kegel
By far the most App Store ratings here: 46,689, at 4.8. Sessions take 5 minutes a day, difficulty adjusts to you, and the app comes in six languages. Its listing says it is the most downloaded Kegel app in the world, citing Sensor Tower; we can't check that.
Check: every feature needs a subscription, the App Store lists ten prices including a $4.99 weekly plan, and the cues are vibration with no voice mentioned. Usage Data and Diagnostics are listed as used to track you. More on what Dr. Kegel costs.
Kegel Men
The biggest Android review base, a plan built from a quiz, breathing and fitness routines, and a community.
Check: there are several prices for each plan length, from $23.99 to $59.99 a year, plus paid add-ons. The listing mentions no trial and no voice cues, and three data types are used to track you.
The Coach
Multi-week lesson programmes: an 8-week and a 12-week one, plus a long-term one. 4.7 from 5,763 ratings.
Check: there's a $6.99 weekly plan and trial items at different prices. The listing mentions natural supplements, and "Sensitive Info" is listed under "Data Used to Track You". It also sells subscriptions on its own website; its terms say you cancel those by contacting support from inside the app.4
Senses
Kegels alongside meditations, workshops, and audio and video classes, for adults of any gender. It can sync mindful minutes to Apple Health.
Check: nothing works without a subscription, there's a $14.99 weekly plan, and the listing's own text says $69.99 a year while its purchase list shows $59.99.
Dr. Kegel vs The Coach vs Kegel Men
These three come up together in searches. Dr. Kegel suits you if you want short, simple daily sessions and the app with the most App Store ratings. The Coach suits multi-week lesson programmes. Kegel Men suits Android users who want breathing and fitness in the same plan.

Do Kegel apps work?
The research tested training programmes, not apps. "Pelvic-floor training has been studied for erection problems. The trials were small, mostly supervised clinic programmes with biofeedback, and their results were mixed. No guideline recommends training for erection problems, so treat it as one tool alongside a check-up with your doctor."2,5,6,7
"Pelvic-floor training has also been studied for early ejaculation, mostly in small clinic studies of supervised rehab that included electrical stimulation and biofeedback. Not everyone improved, some lost ground over the following years, and where it was compared with a medicine, the medicine did better on average. Guidelines don't recommend training on its own."8,9,10
We found no trial of an app-only programme for either, and nothing has tested GoBeast. An app gives you cues, a plan and reminders; it can't check your technique the way a physiotherapist can. Whichever app you choose, start by learning how to find your pelvic floor.
"Erection problems that keep happening can be an early warning of heart or blood-vessel disease, sometimes before any other symptom, and the link is stronger in younger men. If it keeps happening, see a doctor."7,11
How we compared, and our conflict of interest
We make GoBeast. On 24 Oct 2026 we read each app's US App Store page (description, in-app purchase list, privacy label and release notes) and its US Google Play listing. Exact App Store rating counts come from Apple's public lookup service on the same day.12 Where a listing is silent we wrote "not stated" rather than guess.
No app paid to be here, and there are no affiliate links. We'll recheck every figure monthly and whenever a listing changes. If you spot a mistake, email support@gobeast.com and we'll reply within 2 business days.
Questions
Which Kegel app is best for men?
It depends on what you want. For the lowest price, Kegel Trainer PFM or Squeezy Men. For the most App Store ratings, Dr. Kegel. For reverse Kegels, Stamena or GoBeast. For a voice coach with release work and a reminder before every charge, GoBeast, which we make. On our six criteria, Squeezy Men scores highest.
Is there a free Kegel app for men?
Kegel Trainer PFM has a free core, though it isn't written for men. Our free Kegel timer runs in your browser with no sign-up. The rest are free to download but need a subscription or a one-off payment. See free Kegel apps for men.
Is Dr. Kegel worth it?
It has the most App Store ratings of any app here and short daily sessions. Every feature needs a subscription, and its listing mentions no voice cues or reverse Kegels. Our Dr. Kegel alternatives page goes through the trade-offs.
Do Kegel apps actually work?
The trials tested supervised clinic programmes, mostly with biofeedback, and results were mixed. We found no trial of an app-only programme for erection or ejaculation problems, ours included.
What's the difference between Dr. Kegel and Kegel Men?
Dr. Kegel offers 5-minute sessions paced by vibration and has more App Store ratings. Kegel Men adds breathing and fitness routines and has more Google Play reviews. Both are subscriptions; Dr. Kegel lists a weekly plan and Kegel Men doesn't.
Can I cancel a Kegel app subscription any time?
Yes, in the store that bills you. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it. The steps are in our cancel guide.
