Free Kegel apps for men: what you get without paying

On the App Store, “free” usually means free to download. We checked what seven Kegel apps give you before you pay, on 24 Oct 2026.

We make GoBeast, a Kegel app for men. We say where other apps are the better pick, and every fact about another app is dated and comes from its public listing. Spot a mistake? Email support@gobeast.com.

Quick verdict

What you can get for free

  • Free, no strings: our Kegel timer in your browser (no sign-up), or Kegel Trainer PFM's free core, which isn't written for men.
  • Pay once: Squeezy Men, $4.99, and nothing renews.
  • Nothing free: Dr. Kegel, Stamena and Senses need a subscription before you can train. Kegel Men and The Coach don't say what's free.
  • Free plan, paid training: GoBeast (made by us). For eyes-free voice guidance, release work in every session and a reminder 3 days before every charge, including the one at the end of the trial.

Your GoBeast plan is free to see. Training needs GoBeast Pro: $59.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $14.99 a month. We remind you 3 days before every charge.

Exercise and education app. Not medical care.

How to choose a free Kegel app without a surprise charge

Free is only good if the app does the job. Check four things first, then watch for the traps.

  • Voice or audio cues, so you can train without staring at the screen.
  • A release or relax phase, such as reverse Kegels or a relaxation set, and a way to stop if it hurts.
  • Progression: levels or a plan that changes as you go.
  • Guidance written for men. One trial taught men to watch for the base of the penis moving nearer to the abdomen and the testicles rising.1

The traps on "free" apps: a trial toggle on the paywall that switches between a free-trial plan and a paid one; a renewal price in small print under a big per-week figure; weekly plans; and trials sold through a website quiz, billed outside the app stores. Before you start any trial, read the price after it, note the end date, and know where you'd cancel. Our full guide to choosing a Kegel app walks through the checks.

Free, freemium, one-off or subscription

Four models hide behind the same "Get" button. Free means you can use it without paying. Freemium means a free core with paid extras. One-off means you pay once and nothing renews. Subscription only means the download is free and everything else is paid.

US App Store prices as listed; Apple shows at most 10 purchase items, unlabelled, and prices vary by country. Checked 24 Oct 2026

Free options that need no account

  • Our Kegel timer: voice cues for each squeeze, hold and release, in the browser. No sign-up, no payment, and nothing leaves your browser.
  • Kegel Trainer PFM's free core, on iPhone, Mac and Android.
  • No app at all. No equipment needed. "In the best-known UK trial, the home routine was 3 strong squeezes lying, sitting and standing, morning and evening, after coached sessions with a physiotherapist."1

New to this? Start with how to find your pelvic floor, so you're squeezing the right muscle.

Free trials: how to avoid a surprise charge

  1. Before you tap the button, read the price you'll pay after the trial and how long the trial lasts.
  2. Put the end date in your calendar. Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends if you don't want it to renew.2
  3. Don't rely on deleting the app. Google says, "When you uninstall the app, your subscription won't cancel."3 Dr. Kegel's terms say the same.4
  4. If you started on a website quiz, the trial is billed outside the app stores. Cancel with that company. The Coach's terms, for example, say you cancel a website subscription by contacting them from inside the app.5
  5. After cancelling, open your subscriptions list again and check the app no longer shows a renewal.

The full steps for iPhone, Android and the web are in our guide to cancelling a Kegel app subscription.

Is GoBeast free?

No. The free part is onboarding: a few private questions, a guided first squeeze and your personal plan. Training needs GoBeast Pro.

  • $59.99 a year, starting with a 7-day free trial, or $14.99 a month with no trial.
  • A reminder 3 days before every charge: always for a trial ending and a yearly renewal, and on by default for monthly renewals.
  • Settings shows your next charge, and one tap opens the App Store or Google Play cancel screen.
  • Forgot to cancel a renewal and haven't trained since? Ask within 7 days of the charge and it's refunded. On iPhone, Apple makes the final call.6

The web app is available now. iPhone and Android are coming early 2027. The Kegel app for men page has the rest.

Do you need an app at all?

No. Kegels need no equipment, and the routine in the best-known trial fits on a sticky note. What an app or a timer adds is the counting, a plan that moves up as you go, and a reminder. What none of them can do is check your technique the way a pelvic-floor physiotherapist can.

Questions

Is there a completely free Kegel app?

Kegel Trainer PFM's core is free to use, with an optional paid Pro level. Our browser Kegel timer is free with no account. Every other app we checked asks you to pay before you can train.

Is Dr. Kegel free?

It's free to download, but its listing says "All features require an active subscription." See what Dr. Kegel costs and the Dr. Kegel alternatives.

Do I need an app to do Kegels?

No. No equipment needed. An app helps with counting and reminders; it can't replace a physiotherapist checking your technique.

How do I cancel a free trial before I'm charged?

Cancel in the store that bills you, at least 24 hours before the trial ends on Apple. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: your subscriptions in Google Play. The cancel guide has every step.

Is the GoBeast timer really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no payment, and nothing leaves your browser. The GoBeast app is separate and needs GoBeast Pro to train.

The GoBeast app

Free to see, paid to train

Answer a few private questions, practise finding the muscle with a guided first squeeze, and see your personal plan in the web app. It's free, and you don't need an account to start. Training needs GoBeast Pro: $59.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $14.99 a month.

Join the waitlist for a 30-day free trial when the iPhone and Android apps launch in early 2027.
